Welcome to White Oak!

We believe that every person who comes into this fellowship was sent by God Himself. We believe it's not by accident that you have found us. We want to express God's love to you, and we're eager to know you and share with you the marvelous way God is working in our church. At White Oak, we want to worship, serve, laugh, cry, learn and grow together. Then we want to go into our world with life transforming truth. Our doors are open, and our hearts are open , too. If you've been thinking, praying searching and hoping for a place to belong, we say, "Welcome."

Senior Pastors Bill & Sue Tatum

Bill and Sue Tatum are natives of the Fayetteville area. Married on February 14, 1975, they are the parents of 2 children. Bill and Sue both are graduates from the Bible Training Institute. In 1974 Bill began to serve as Minister in Training at the Breezewood Church of God of Prophecy in Fayetteville, NC. In 1975, they served North Carolina Church of God of Prophecy as State Evangelists. Bill was later appointed to serve the denomination as  Pastor in Wallace, NC and Sanford NC.

While serving as pastor, God began to birth in the Tatums the heart of a shepherd. Since then, Bill has continued to serve through teaching and ministering the Word of God in the role of Associate Pastor and coordinator. They joined the Bethany Church of God of Prophecy Family in February 2007 where Bill served as Associate Pastor of Christian Education. Sue continues to serve Bethany as Administrative Assistant. On June 22, the Bethany Church prayed a prayer of blessing over Bill and Sue and sent them forth to to fulfill the call of God on their lives.

Since answering the call to pastor White Oak, Bill and Sue have gone to prayer - and to work. With the help of ministry friends from the Fayetteville and Bethany areas, they have already installed a sound system, new church sign, and repainted the parsonage. God has given them both great vision for the church and burden for the people of White Oak community.  Great things are in store.
